FOOD for Thought

With the creation of the recent video spoofing the Food Network, I have been a bit obsessed with watching some of their shows. It is amazing how many different and creative ways that the preparation of food can be captured on video. Yes, much of it has to do with the personality, but the creativity is astounding.

My obsession was so deep, that I even recorded a couple "Behind the Scenes" programs that aired this past Sunday. Unwrapped and Good Eats each took an hour to show how many of the shows come together. From pre-production to post-production, you get a backstage pass. Some of the tricks and methods are ideal for producers to feed their brains with. I was practically drooling, and my wife even replied, that it "was right up my alley." Learning from the Food Network, and not about food. Who would of thought?

Now, if they could just put together an in depth behind the scenes for The Amazing Race and Survivor.
