Chicken Little

Run, seek safety, the sky is falling. We must all huddle in our homes and quiver in fear. Here we go again.

That is what you would think if you watched any of the news programs today as they had a reporter on every street corner, and all the schools shut down.

IT IS SNOW PEOPLE! It falls every year in this area, and it has for as long as man can remember. The problem with the reaction, once again, is this is not a major snow storm, we're talking the potential of 1-2 inches of snow by the end of the day. Families are upended, parents are scrambling to make arrangements, and productivity in the business world crashes to the ground. Since we're also obsessed with "a weak economy", it would be interesting to see what the economic impact of this unnecessary hysteria is.

The big downer about all this is, there isn't even enough snow for the kids to play in while they are home from school all day.
