Who's got the time?
My family, my job, television, hobbies, who can possibly expect me to have any time for God and the church.
That is the world and the America we now live in. We've made our lives so busy that God is now an after thought. We are not giving God our time. Which is pretty selfish of us, since he has proven from the beginning that he has given us His.
After all, on the first day God said let there be light. And there was. Be kind of tough to see anything if He hadn't taken the time.
Day two He took the time to bring us a cold cup of water. The essence of life in all living things.
Then came the vegetation, the plants and the fruit on day three. That had to take some time. Peas to pomegranates.
He took the time on day four and day five as well. You seeing a pattern here?
Thankfully, He still took the time on day six to make man. Allowing us to share and celebrate in a wonderfully created world.
So God took all this time for us, six days (and that was just to get started). And most of us give Him our leftovers on Sunday morning?
On the seventh day, He rested. I don't know about you, but I feel as though we have no right or privilege to rest until we give Him some more of our TIME!
