The Definition of Snail Mail

It is obvious that email is faster than the USPS, but just how fast. I got a good definition yesterday, when my wife received in the mail a postcard inviting her to the Media Ministry Appreciation Dinner on July 25. This isn't for this year or even last year, but postmarked,
July 12, 2006. That's right, it only took 593 days to get from Camp Hill to Harrisburg. Seven whole miles. I think a snail had to literally make the trip across the Susquehanna River.

I wonder which bridge it used?
