We are Sowing a Seed of...Outsourcing

When a farmer begins a new crop season, he must at the most, sow a seed in the ground. It does no good if he tills the soil, fertilizes and waters, if the seed is not there.

Isn't it ironic that over the last couple decades the number of farmers has dropped drastically in America and at the same time, those who call themselves Christian, have forgotten how to sow.

So much so, that we have almost completely outsourced the Christian faith to other countries. We are now the third largest mission field in the world.

It's a shame we don't see the irony of this valuable illustration.
