What a face! A face only a mother could love (and maybe my wife). That has been my way of thinking for many years. I had never been proud of the way I look, thus I hardly ever allowed my picture to be taken. If you caught me in action, fine, but I hated posing for a picture. Especially by myself. Why do you think I end up behind the camera so much?As I have grown in my walk with the Lord, I have learned to accept myself as He has made me. A work of art in His eyes. Don't get me wrong, I still want to strive and lose weight so that I am healthy, I'm just not as concerned about my appearance. I will never be GQ enough for the world, but I am cover boy material for God.Now, like many, I have entered the world of the Web 2.0, the world of Facebook, and my face is not only there for me to see, or my family, but the world to see. This is a tough new step in my faith in God. At the click of a mouse, my face is gracing the computer monitors of 100's of people. I'm not gloating. I haven't become a diva, I'm stating the facts. You can't hide from the world anymore. And if you can't hide from the world, what makes us think we can hide from God. And the fact is, God has one of those cameras that can take many pictures a second. You don't have to pose for Him, he catches you in action. Then sets up a nice scrapbook for memories. What do your pictures look like?
