Distraction? No Way!!

(the following is a post from a friend and fellow servant Vicky Shaulis)

For over a year now, it has been my privilege to watch the well-oiled machine known as the Media TEAM Love God, Love People, and Change the World—literally! You’ve invested into corporate worship, demonstrated care for each other, and together (audio, lighting, video, duplication, and retail) provided services which have become a blessing to many.

Allow me to share two emails with you, one from former video team members Shelly and Charles Davies and another from a pastor in Liberia:

Dear Media Team,
When working in West Africa, you do miss home. Receiving mail (the old kind) is one thing that really helps you feel like you're still part of all that's going on. We are blessed to be supported by such a great church and always excited to receive a little box every couple of weeks containing the DVDs you all work so hard to create! It helps us to feel a part of the church, even though we are so far away. We "go" to CLA every Sunday right along with you! We love hearing Pastor Wayde speak, the choir sing, the special music, etc., but we get especially excited when we see a great camera shot!!! Keep up the good work and be encouraged that you are affecting and influencing people, not only in Camp Hill, but around the world on many continents, including Africa. God bless you all! Thanks for keeping us connected.

Greetings in Jesus’ name! It is indeed a great joy for me to express my delight in the Lord for His special grace upon me and my family. I am Rev. Joseph Lamenay Kanwea, an ordained pastor of the Liberian Assemblies of God . . . You may wonder how I got your address. I got it through Rev. Joshua Z. Wonsia (who regularly receives complimentary service recordings from CLA and has apparently been circulating them  . . . I want to register my immense thanks to you for those inspiring DVD materials sent to Rev. Wonsia. I was really blessed through the message delivered by Dr. George O. Wood, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, USA. It is no doubt that you have a special reward for whatever you spent in sending the material.

I never cease to be amazed at the faithful commitment and sacrificial service of so many in Media Ministries. Each one of you is important – thanks for being a TEAM player!
